9. a classic question

what are the five items you must have on a deserted island?

since i can't bring people, which sucks cause i'd already be at my limit, lol i guess i'll bring "items".

1. a water filter, so i can filter the salt water and make it drinkable. can't survive without water!
2. my favorite book in the whole world. one i can never be tired of reading! endless entertainment on an island that has nothing else but you...sounds good to me!
3. a pack of pens
4. a notebook (3&4 are self explanatory)
5. flares...to signal any planes i may see.

it took me a bit to write this between thinking of what i'd actually take with me & the girls, lol. i thought this would be an easier challenge but trying to think of items that would useful in keeping me alive or getting me off the island was hard than i expected.
