i slept much better last night. i am pretty sure it had everything to do with talking to aaron so much yesterday. when i say so much, i mean..5 differnet times ranging from 5 minutes to 20 minutes of texting. it was honestly the best medicine for me.
he will be going to his final destination sometime within the next 12 hours. i can't say exactly when though. he's ready to get to work and get this deployment down. which so am i! we miss him so much and its only been 3 days. i can't wait to say "1 week down, 2 weeks, 3 weeks, 1 month, 2 months.." and so on! it's going to feel so great hitting those little milestones. little milestones create a bigger picture and that's 9 months down & my husband home!
my friends have been really great already. lots of people checking up on me or letting me whine to them. giving me the positive boost i sometimes need too. i am truly blessed to know them. i don't know what i'd do without them at this point since the only thing that has kept me going are my girls & them.
it's been so cold here in kentucky, so naturally my tile house is FREEZING! my arizona blood cannot handle this. since its been cold, my grandparents have been staying at their trailer and not leaving lol. annabelle keeps asking about them along with her daddy. she gets super upset when i say they are not coming today & daddy isn't coming home either. i am not sure how to really explain it to an almost 3 year old other than "daddy is at work and he won't be home for awhile but he will come home soon and he loves you and your sissys". LOL..that doesn't work so well in my opinion because she asks again so soon.
her daddy pillow is doing wonders. she kisses him goodnight & holds him all night. it's so sweet.
